Miramar is defined by Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (92145), and a lot of the neighborhood's economy follows the base. Defense suppliers, machine shops and logistics companies fill the business parks along Miramar Road, Carroll Canyon Road and Kearny Villa Road, and they need finishes that hold up to hard use and real specs.

Miramar Road is also one of San Diego's densest strips of auto repair, tire and performance shops, plus the craft breweries that earned the stretch its "Beeramar" nickname. Brewery equipment frames, keg racks, patio furniture and signage all come through our shop, alongside the truck frames and wheels from the auto side.

The mix of heavy industry and small shops is what makes Miramar different from the rest of the city. On a single street you might find a welding shop, a lift kit installer, a brewery and a defense electronics firm, and all four of them will eventually need something coated.

Industrial customers in Miramar usually care about three things: the coating has to meet the spec, it has to be consistent, and it has to be done on time. Our process is built around that.

Parts are blasted to a uniform profile, masked to your drawings, and coated electrostatically so the powder wraps edges, welds and the backs of tubing. For parts that will see corrosion, we can apply a primer plus top coat system. Everything is cured on a set schedule and inspected before it leaves.

For fabricators, we fit into your schedule rather than the other way around. Drop parts off in the morning on the way to a job site, and we will call when they are cured and inspected. Large beams and assemblies can go on our truck, and repeat work can be set up on a regular pickup day so you are not chasing it every week.
