Giving Back
A San Diego shop since day one. We put our work, our time, and our equipment behind the local organizations and projects that make this a better place to live.
Proud to Be Part of the San Diego Community
Anocote Powder has been finishing metal in San Diego for decades, and most of our customers are our neighbors: local fabricators, contractors, schools, nonprofits, and families. Being part of this community means more than running a business here.
When a school needs its bleacher frames refinished, a nonprofit needs playground equipment brought back to life, or a volunteer group is restoring something the whole neighborhood will use, we want to be the shop that steps up.
Local Partnerships
We work alongside local schools, youth sports programs, churches, and community organizations across San Diego County, offering discounted or donated sandblasting and powder coating for projects that serve the public.
Community Projects
From park benches and gates to signage, railings, and playground equipment, we have helped restore pieces that get used every day. If it is metal and it serves the community, we can help bring it back.
A Cleaner Way to Finish Metal
Powder coating uses no solvents and releases no VOCs. Our overspray is captured and recycled instead of going into San Diego's air or water, and a coating that lasts longer means fewer parts end up replaced.
Featured Project: Rady Children's Hospital
We were proud to contribute our sandblasting and powder coating work to a project at Rady Children’s Hospital, stripping worn, weathered components down to bare metal and refinishing them with a durable, long-lasting coating built to hold up to years of daily use. It is the kind of project that reminds us why we do this.
